The Honorary Awards Committee advises Council on policy relating to honorary awards and recommends nominations for honorary awards.

Terms of reference

  1. To develop, review and recommend to Council a policy covering all types of honorary awards
  2. to consider nominations for honorary awards
  3. to recommend to Council nominations for honorary awards according to the policy and procedures adopted by Council.

Composition

The Honorary Awards Committee consists of the following positions:

  • a Deputy Vice-Chancellor

  • Chair, Academic Board
  • three external members of Council
  • one academic staff member of Council
